3rd Re:Zero, Season 3 key visual released of Emilia, Subaru, Beatrice and co heading to Priestella

The third Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- key visual has been released via the anime’s official X account earlier today.

The new Re:Zero, Season 3 key visual has Emilia and Subaru standing close together in a flower-filled field and looking back towards the camera, while Beatrice, Otto and Garf are in the distance walking on ahead of them.

The tagline of the new visual reads “Stand up to the worst disasters again and again“, while the anime’s official X account asks “What threat awaits them in the Watergate City of Priestella?”.

A city that is one of the five main cities in the Dragon Kingdom of Lugunica, and one you can see in the foreground of the just-released visual. (see below)

The third Re:Zero, Season 3 key visual has been released in anticipation of the premiere of the anime’s first episode, which will occur on August 30th in Japanese theaters with a 90-minute special.

The anime’s official broadcast will then kick off in October.

Like the first two seasons of the isekai anime, Re: Zero, Season 3 is based on the light novels written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shin’ichirō Ōtsuka.

Season 3 has a new director, with Masahiro Shinohara taking over the reins from Masaharu Watanabe who directed the first two seasons, while Masahiro Yokotani (My New Boss is Goofy) is in charge of series composition, and Haruka Sagawa (Call of the Night) is taking over the character designs.

Studio White Fox is in charge of anime production again.

You will find more information about the upcoming third season of the hit anime via the official Re:Zero website.

And, of course, if you haven’t yet watches the first two seasons of Re:Zero or need a refresher viewing, you can do that now on Crunchyroll.
