Cute Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) collab visual features Himari drinking yoghurt

Yoghurppe drink collabs with Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) anime

Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!), the upcoming television anime adapted from the romantic comedy light novel series penned by Nana Nanana and illustrated by Parum, has unveiled a fresh visual via its Twitter account.

The new Danjo no Yujo visual is for an exclusive collaboration with Yoghurppe, a yogurt-based beverage cherished by the series’ heroine.

It features protagonist Himari sitting on a desk at school, dressed in her school uniform and grinning widely as she really enjoys that refreshing drink.

And if you have spent any time in Japan, and love yoghurt-based drinks, you will probably have drunk one/many yourself. I know I have.

The release of the cute collab visual also coincides with the Volume 8 of the light novel series being published in Japan today.

What is the Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) anime about?

Roughly translated into Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Hold Up? (No, It Can’t!!), Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) tells the story of two high school students — a spirited girl called Himari and a more reserved boy called Yuu.

The two are both best friends and members of the high school gardening club.

So close are they, Yuu once jokingly said, “If you can’t get married by the time you’re 30, I will  have to take responsibility”.

Which is all fine and dandy until Yuu suddenly meets his first crush again. And then things aren’t quite right between Yuu and Himari ever again.

Not many details about the upcoming Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) anime series have been released as yet.

We do know J.C. Staff (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) is in charge of anime production and that, if it’s as popular as the light novel series in Japan, it could be a big hit.

Nothing more than that has been released to date. We will update you as soon as more comes out, but I’ve got to say this one looks adorably cute!

If Dragon Ball was your first love, we might just have something in common. Throw in Sailor Moon, Akira, Pokemon and Revolutionary Girl Utena, and you and I could be good friends. Problem is, I rarely leave my house as there's that manga collection I need to catch up on.
