Just a reminder that Mushoku Tensei, Season 2, Episode 19 will not be airing on May 20th, 2024.
Instead, the isekai anime series is taking a break of a week before recommencing on May 27th with the start of the Teleport Labyrinth Arc.
In anticipation, the production committee released a new Mushoku Tensei Teleport Labyrinth Arc key visual this week (see below), along with a new PV.
The key visual has Rudeus and his father Paul front and center fighting side-by-side.
They also describe what you can expect in the new arc as:
A complete change from the story that has been depicted in the second season so far, the content is a foreboding of harsh adventure and intense battle action!
Well, that sounds ominous, doesn’t it?
If you’re in Japan, a special program featuring members of the voice cast looking back at the Newlyweds arc will air next week in the place of Episode 19.
New Mushoku Tensei Teleport Arc PV
Along with the just released Mushoku Tensei Teleport Labyrinth Arc PV, the production committee also explained what you will see in the 1.31 minute trailer:
At the height of his happiness, Rudeus decides to leave the pregnant Sylph and depart on a faraway journey in response to a request for help from Geese, who continues to search for Zenith with Paul.
The PV features the opening theme “On the Frontline” sung by the rock band Hitorie, and depicts Rudeus traveling through the harsh desert on the way to the labyrinth city of Lapin.
We also see the suffering of his father Paul.
The PV includes some of the intense battle scenes Rudeus must make it through to save his mother Zenith, who has lost her memories, and has been trapped in a labyrinth for more than a decade.
Mushoku Tensei, Season 2 is directed by Ryosuke Shibuya (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World), with series composition by Toshiya Ono, and character designs by Yoshiko Sato.
Studio Bind is in charge of anime production.
