New MAYONAKA PUNCH trailer has crazy girls starting a NewTube channel

The original comedy anime MAYONAKA PUNCH has gotten a new trailer, a cute key visual and a premiere date.

The anime’s official premiere date is July 8th, and the funny new MAYONAKA PUNCH trailer shows off a group of crazy girls, with two of them with the goal of starting a NewTube channel, and growing it quicker than anybody ever has.

This all comes about after one of the girls, Masaki, is kicked out of her own three-girl NewTube channel when something goes wrong in one of their videos.

But its then that she meets Live, a girl who just happens to be a vampire, and someone who feels she might just be the one to save the day.

Hence, the two girls team up to start their own NewTube channel with the goal of grabbing 1 million subscribers in an amazingly fast period of time.

And that, of course, is when the craziness begins.

The MAYONAKA PUNCH trailer also features ‘Gimigimi’, the anime’s opening theme song, which is performed by main cast member Fairouz Ai (who plays Live), alongside supporting cast members Yuina Ito (voicing Ichiko), Ai Kayano (Yuki) and Hitomi Ueda (Tokage).

Meanwhile, its’ ending theme song ‘Henshuten‘, is sung by the second main cast member Ikumi Hasegawa (Masaki).

The new MAYONAKA PUNCH key visual has Live and Masaki front and center, with their camera all ready to start filming, while Ichiko (top left), Fuu (top right), Yuki (bottom left) and Tokage (bottom right) look on.

About Steve Reynolds

If Dragon Ball was your first love, we might just have something in common. Throw in Sailor Moon, Akira, Pokemon and Revolutionary Girl Utena, and you and I could be good friends. Problem is, I rarely leave my house as there's that manga collection I need to catch up on.
