The Apothecary Diaries, E6 preview trailer has MaoMao at the palace garden party taste testing for poison

The just released The Apothecary Diaries, Episode 6 shows more stunning scenes from this gorgeous anime

The Apothecary Diaries, Episode 6 preview trailer was released by TOHO Animation last night, right after the fifth episode of the utterly superb anime premiered.

As you might expect in this wonderful mystery anime, while only a 15-second video, The Apothecary Diaries, Episode 6 preview trailer hints at something not too pleasant happening at the garden party MaoMao, Jinshi, Gaoshun, Lady Gyokuyou and her attendants were heading to at the end of Episode 5.

A garden party where MaoMao will be the official food taster and one, in which, from the trailer at least, it appears she may have caught a man’s attention. A man other than Jinshi, that is.

Then again, MaoMao is beautifully made up and looking lovely.

The trailer also gives us a quick glimpse of Lady Lishu, the Emperor’s youngest consort, and one we have not come across much yet.

But, boy, does she look haughty and completely full of herself.

When is The Apothecary Diaries, Episode 6 airing/streaming?

The sixth episode of The Apothecary Diaries will air on Sunday, November 12th at 1:05 a.m. on Nippon TV.

International audiences will get the latest episode of the anime on their streaming services around the same time. (Late afternoon for those of us in Europe).

For many people that episode will be streamed via Crunchyroll.

With all five episodes of the TOHO Animation and OLM-produced anime being wonderful,  as you will see from The Apothecary Diaries, Episode 6 preview trailer below, the perfection just keeps on coming.

About Micaela Adams

Didn't get into anime and manga until I was in my 20s. Made up for it in the last few years, as I've been writing about manga for a while now, my 1,000-plus volume manga collection is threatening to collapse my floor, and anime Blu-rays have taken over my living room. Aren't delayed childhoods fun?!
