The Dungeon of Black Company manga ends with final arc beginning in September

The Dungeon of Black Company manga is ending with its final arc, which will begin publishing on September 13th.

Updates will then be published every second Friday of each month until The Dungeon of Black Company manga comes to an end.

The manga’s end was announced on its official X account earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the final arc of the manga will be preceded by a one-shot manga that will be published on the Mag Comi website on Friday, August 9th.

The Dungeon of Black Company manga details

The Dungeon of Black Company (aka Meikyuu Black Company) is written and illustrated by Yōhei Yasumura.

It began publishing in 2016, and has since been compiled into 11 volumes in Japan, with 10 volumes already out in English via Seven Seas Entertainment, and with Volume 11 due out in November this year.

Seven Seas describes the manga’s plot in this manner:

Kinji had it made–a swank apartment, a real estate empire, and enough cash to lounge around living the good life. After a freak magical accident, he washes up in another world, all but enslaved to a crooked corporation.

In a fantastical land where money is everything, there’s only one way for an Earthling to get ahead: make your fortune, by any means necessary! Dragons, goblins, and the occasional dubious potion won’t stop Kinji’s quest for the world’s biggest bank account.

The Black Company is open for business!

The hit comedy fantasy isekai has also been adapted into a popular anime series. (see screenshot above)

That anime premiered in July, 2021 and ran through September of the same year, with Funimation streaming it for its subscribers outside Japan.
